### How Refining Profit Works

The Refining Calculator compares the cost of raw resources with the value of refined resources. It includes refining city, Resource Return Rate, Focus, station fee, market tax, and selected price modes to estimate refining profit.

### Material Groups

Select the resource group you want to refine: Wood to Planks, Ore to Metal Bars, Hide to Leather, Fiber to Cloth, or Stone to Stone Blocks. Each resource has a royal city with a refining bonus.

### Refining Filters

Set filters to match where you will buy, refine, and sell:
1Source City (Buy) - Market used for raw resource prices.2Refine City - City where you refine. Bonus cities usually improve Resource Return Rate.3Sell Refined At - Market used for the refined resource sell value.4Custom RRR - Override Resource Return Rate for hideouts or special setups.5Buy Orders - Use buy-order pricing for raw materials when you plan to wait for orders.6Sell Orders - Use sell-order pricing for output when you plan to list refined resources.7Use Focus - Includes Focus and Destiny Board efficiency in the refining estimate.8In-Game Premium - Applies Albion Online market tax assumptions for Premium or non-Premium characters.table_chart
### Reading the Table

Each row shows one raw-to-refined conversion and its estimated silver result:
1Recipe - Required raw resources and the refined output.2Refining RRR - Resource Return Rate used in the calculation, plus focus cost when Focus is enabled.3Refined Value - Stored market value of the refined output.4Total Cost - Raw materials plus station fee and related costs.5Profit (No Focus) - Estimated profit without Focus.6Profit (Focus) - Estimated profit when Focus is enabled and available.
