## 1. Introduction

Albion Online Hub ("AOH", "we", "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your personal information.

## 2. Information We Collect

### 2.1 Account Data

When you sign in with Google, we receive and store:
- Your display name and email address
- Your Google profile photo URL
- A unique Firebase user identifier (UID)

### 2.2 Usage Data

We may collect basic usage analytics such as page views, feature usage patterns, and session duration to improve the Service. This data is anonymized and not linked to your personal identity.

### 2.3 Subscription Data

If you subscribe to a premium tier via Patreon, we store your Patreon user ID and subscription status to grant premium features. We do **not** store your payment details — all billing is handled by Patreon.

## 3. How We Use Your Data
- **Authentication:** To verify your identity and manage your account.
- **Feature Access:** To determine your subscription tier and provide appropriate features.
- **Personalization:** To save your preferences (e.g. preferred server region, saved crafting plans).
- **Service Improvement:** To analyze aggregate usage patterns and improve the platform.

## 4. Third-Party Services

AOH integrates with the following third-party services, each governed by their own privacy policies:
- **Google Firebase:** Authentication and user management.
- **Patreon:** Subscription billing and supporter verification.
- **Albion Online Data Project (AODP):** Community-sourced market data via public NATS feeds.
- **Render API (Sandbox Interactive):** Item icon rendering (fallback).

## 5. Cookies & Local Storage

We use browser local storage to save user preferences such as selected server region and UI settings. We do not use tracking cookies for advertising purposes. Firebase may set its own cookies for authentication session management.

## 6. Data Retention

Your account data is retained as long as your account is active. If you wish to delete your account and associated data, please contact us at albiononlinehub@gmail.com. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.

## 7. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including:
- TLS encryption for all data in transit.
- Secure authentication via Firebase/Google OAuth.
- Database access restricted to internal container networks.
- Regular backups with encrypted cloud storage.

## 8. Your Rights (GDPR)

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), you have the right to:
- **Access** the personal data we hold about you.
- **Rectify** inaccurate or incomplete data.
- **Erase** your personal data ("right to be forgotten").
- **Restrict** or **object to** certain processing of your data.
- **Data portability:** Request a copy of your data in a structured format.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at albiononlinehub@gmail.com.

## 9. Children's Privacy

AOH is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.

## 10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the platform. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
